The CAL 9300 1/16DIN temperature controller is designed to be easy-to-use and reliable within the most demanding process and manufacturing applications.
Designed for industrial or scientific applications CAL9300 has an impact resistant smoked fascia with rubberised buttons with positive feedback. PID tuning is simple and efficient whilst the unique dAC function minimises overshoot.
The universal temperature controller KS 41-1 is intended for universal, precise, and cost-effective control tasks in all branches of industry. For this, the unit provides simple 2-point (on/off) control, continuous PID control, or 3-point stepping control. The process value signal is connected via a universal input. A supplementary analog input can be used for heating current measurement or as an external setpoint input.
The KS 41-1 has three process outputs that can be 3 relays or 2 relays plus a universal output. This universal output can be used for operating a solid-state relay, a continuous current/voltage output or to energize a two-wire transmitter.
This controller is particularly well suited to the following industry applications:
Furnaces and ovens
Burners and boilers
The 4170+ single loop controller is part of the Plus series range and has 3-point stepping control designed specifically for open loop, valve motor drive (VMD) applications.
The 4170+ incorporates advanced tuning algorithms, with selectable pre-tune and self-tuning for easier setup. The self-tune also reduces output activity to an absolute minimum without compromising control quality, thereby reducing wear and tear on mechanical components such as valves, contactors and relays. In test, these controls have cut down valve oscillation from 30 to 40 times a minute to just a few. Pre-tune plus self-tuning has also been shown to get on control up to 3 times faster.
In addition to the VMD outputs, further output options exist which can be designated as outputs for alarms, 24 VDC transmitter power supply, retransmit process value or setpoint.
